Harvest the Future 2025 FAQs

FRESHFARM’s Harvest the Future is a fundraising event hosted by FRESHFARM to raise critical funds for our food access programs, educational initiatives, and local farmers. Join us for an evening of fine cheeses and charcuterie, fantastic wines, and community connection, benefiting FRESHFARM’s programs.

Yes, this event has limited capacity, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your spot.

Harvest the Future will take place on Tuesday, September 30 at The Girl and the Vine in Takoma Park located at 7071 Carroll Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912.

All funds raised at Harvest the Future will go directly toward sustaining FRESHFARM’s programs, supporting local farmers, and ensuring that fresh, healthy food is accessible to all members of our community.

Doors will open at 6:00PM. We encourage you to arrive early to enjoy drinks, mingle, and check out all the event has to offer!

Harvest the Future is a great opportunity to connect with other FRESHFARM’s supporters, our Board Members, and staff. It will also be a great opportunity to meet our new Executive Director, Cat Oakar.

The event dress code is business casual attire. The event will be held indoors.

Parking is limited. Rideshare is suggested.

This event is open to attendees 21 and over.

Donations can be made during the event, or you can contribute online by visiting our website www.freshfarm.org/donate. Every gift makes a difference!

Tickets are non-refundable. All proceeds support FRESHFARM’s mission to create food access for all while supporting the livelihood of local farmers and producers. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else or consider it a tax-deductible donation. Please contact giving@freshfarm.org for questions.
