Dedicated, engaged, and enthusiastic volunteers are key to our success at FRESHFARM. Volunteers play a number of roles at FRESHFARM including helping with our market operations, assisting with food access and education efforts, and adding to FRESHFARM’s spirit of community. Our work is centered around creating spaces for economic opportunity, food access, education, and celebration. Join us in helping to further FRESHFARM’s mission at our markets with the volunteer opportunities below.

Volunteer at the Market

Join us as a Market Volunteer! Many of our market volunteer opportunities require a regular commitment to serving weekly or monthly for the duration of a market season, but there are also short-term and single event volunteer opportunities available. Visit the Markets Schedule to determine which market(s) works for you. Review the Markets Volunteer Handbook to learn more about FRESHFARM volunteer opportunities at market, and choose the volunteer position that best fits with your schedule, interest, and availability.

Please note that volunteering at markets involves working outdoors in the elements, some heavy lifting, friendly customer service, and representing FRESHFARM to the community. Comfortable clothes are recommended. We require volunteers to be 16 years of age or older. For volunteer opportunities for children under the age of 16, and for group volunteer requests, please contact marketvolunteers@freshfarm.org.

If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out this interest form and we will reach out to you to match you with our volunteer needs.
