Farmers Market Staff – Fairfax County, Winter Season

Market Staff are responsible for executing market operations, interfacing with stakeholders, and creating a vibrant and friendly market. FoodPrints Out Of School Time (OST) Assistant Teacher (Part-Time) 

Interested in growing your food education skills? FoodPrints is looking for people to join our program as OST Assistant Teachers! FoodPrints OST Assistant Teachers will support enrichment programming that includes cooking, gardening, and learning, and other creative activities through Spring Semester 2023, with the opportunity to continue through the summer and following years contingent upon funding. Do you like cats and dogs, and treat pets like family? Then come check out Snarfies! Snarfies is hiring staff to work either Saturday, Sunday, or both. Pay start at $15/hour, and they can offer same-day pay, if that’s desired. They also offer cash bonuses when sales goals are met. The market position is critical for communicating about Snarfies’ products and mission. They are seeking to hire someone who likes making friends and connecting with regulars about their pets, and who feels comfortable helping people find good solutions within their offerings. ButterQueen Bakery is a mobile black-owned and woman-owned bakery based in Takoma Park, MD specializing in made-from-scratch southern-style pound cakes and treats. They are seeking a part-time position for Vendor Pop Ups and Farmers Markets in the DMV area. The Farmers Market is every Wednesday from 3pm-7pm in Foggy Bottom and 2pm-6pm in the winter.
