Food Hub Operations Associate – Hyattsville, MD
Food Hub Operations Associates are responsible for supporting the operations of the Food Hub by fulfilling deliveries to program partners in the organization’s vehicles, assisting with all at-market operations of the Food Hub, and managing the equipment used by the Food Hub.
Successful candidates will have 1 year of relevant work experience in operations/logistics or delivery, be creative and flexible problem solvers, and are not afraid to work outdoors and get down and dirty with the local food system. Currently we are seeking 4 Associates interested in working for the 2026 Main Season. The ideal candidate will be seeking 25+ hours per week. This position has variable hours that can range from 10-30 hours / week depending on candidate interest/availability and customer demand.

Market Staff
Market Staff are the face of FRESHFARM at markets. They play a key role in the success and growth of markets and work as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Market Staff are assigned to one or more of our 20+ markets. We are currently hiring staff for our Columbia Heights Wednesday market. This is a seasonal role, running May-August. This position is a member of the Bargaining Unit represented by UFCW Local 400.
Successful candidates will be creative problem solvers, clear communicators, collaborative team members, and passionate about creating inclusive community spaces all about regional, accessible, fresh food. Previous experience in customer service, retail, food & agriculture is a plus, but not required. Spanish language aptitude is strongly preferred.

PASTA ILGATTO – Farmers Market Representative
PASTA ILGATTO is seeking an enthusiastic Farmers Market Vendor Sales Representative. Compensation includes salary, incentives, and tips.
Responsibilities include setup, customer engagement, vending, and breaking—leaving the space as received for pickup. Additional incentives are available for those able to manage pickup and/or drop-off at the company location. A friendly demeanor and excellent customer service are essential.
Sales experience is optional; candidates with strong attitudes and availability will receive training. Market days are Saturdays and Sundays, approximately 8 a.m.–12 p.m. (varies by market). There is no requirement to work every weekend—schedule flexibility is accommodated with advance communication.
