FRESHFARM Employment Positions
FoodPrints Bilingual Lead Teacher
FoodPrints Lead Teachers are responsible for leading engaging FoodPrints programming at at least one of our partner schools, including classroom management, lesson planning, and program implementation utilizing FoodPrints’ grow-cook-eat-learn model in school classrooms, gardens, and teaching kitchens. This role also entails some administrative work to prepare for classes and maintain documentation. Teachers are each supervised by an Instructional Coach and are active members of a collaborative team working across the city in FoodPrints partner schools.
Successful candidates will be experienced teachers with an ability to work with students in an academic setting & utilize and adapt curricular materials for student and class needs and will have worked in garden and/or food education-related fields, including environmental education, place-based education, science, or outdoor learning. Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required for this role.

FoodPrints School Based Farm Stand Assistant (Spring, Summer, and/or Fall 2026 Internships)
Looking for an opportunity to learn about the local food system? Excited about food education, food access, and local agriculture? Apply for an internship with FRESHFARM! Our School Based Farm Stand Assistants will work at least twice a month at one or two of our School-Based Farm Stands. At the farm stands, they will engage with customers at the Farm Stand about the produce, samples, and other recipe ideas, and support all aspects of the program. This internship can start as early as May and run through November.

Chinese Street Market DC – Logistic Team Member
Chinese Street Market DC seeks logistics team member(s) for drop-offs or pick-ups, inventory reports, and packing & organizing inventories at weekend-only farmers markets in Washington, DC year-round.
This part-time role is about 15 hours a week. Most duties happen during the weekends. Special events and online order delivery hours may also arise. Must have a valid driver’s license and can operate a family size van in DC. Able to constantly lift items 10-15 lbs. Position paid hourly at $23/hour. Pay weekly on Fridays, W2 position. Talking Breads – Market Staff
Talking Breads is looking for one hard working individual to help out at the Dupont Circle Market
on Sundays. Pay is $18/hr plus shared tips. Bread perks and a simple IRA after 9 months for
qualifying individuals. Hours are 7:45am – 1:45pm every Sunday. (Occasional Saturdays in Silver Spring, MD are a possibility as well.) Duties include: Assisting with loading and unloading the market van (must be able to lift a min of 50lbs), setting up our market display and selling breads and baked goods, keeping the market display stocked and looking presentable.
