Our farmers and producers frequently share job openings with us. The following market farmers and producers currently have positions available. Please note, these are NOT FRESHFARM positions; you would be hired directly by the vendor. Please direct all questions regarding these positions to the vendors themselves.
Pearl Fine Teas – Market Representative
Pearl Fine Teas is hiring a part-time team member to represent them at weekend markets across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. The job includes traveling to market locations, setting up and managing the sales booth, assisting customers, processing purchases, and packing up at the end of each event. Pearl Fine Teas is looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can work independently, has reliable transportation, and is available for weekend shifts; training is provided. The Big Brine – Sales Team Member
The Big Brine is looking for dependable, part-time weekend help to sell their locally made pickles, pickled vegetables, kimchi, and sauerkraut at farmers markets and special events. Responsibilities include setting up and operating the market stand, serving customers, processing sales, answering basic product questions, keeping the stand organized, and transporting products and supplies as needed. Training is provided, and no management experience is required. Starting pay is $100 per market, with additional compensation available for transportation; applicants with a pickup truck or van are especially encouraged to apply. Flexible weekend scheduling is available, with additional special-event work possible, and an immediate start is preferred.
