FRESHFARM Employment Positions
FoodPrints Instructional Coach
FoodPrints Instructional Coaches are responsible for supporting and supervising FoodPrints teachers in order to ensure successful FoodPrints programming at partner schools. Coaches guide teachers on lesson planning, classroom management, utilizing FoodPrints’ grow-cook-eat-learn model in school classrooms, gardens, and teaching kitchens, and carrying out teachers’ various administrative duties. Coaches also help plan and conduct staff meetings and professional development opportunities to support teachers’ professional growth.
Successful candidates will have 2+ years of experience as an instructional coach at the elementary level, preferably with 2+ years teaching experience at the elementary level, experience with science, garden, and/or food education, experience in diverse, urban, multicultural school communities, and the ability to proactively contribute to a shared leadership structure, and ability to think and plan strategically.

FoodPrints Classroom Assistant (Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 Semester)
Interested in growing your food education skills? FoodPrints is looking for interns, volunteers, and/or Federal Work Study students to join our program as Classroom Assistants! FoodPrints Classroom Assistants work directly with FoodPrints Lead Teachers to facilitate preschool – 5th grade classes that provide hands-on experiences for local students to grow, harvest, cook, and eat nutritious, fresh, local, and seasonal food. We are currently seeking Classroom Assistants to support the work of the FoodPrints program at one or more partner schools in Washington, DC during the 2025-26 school year. Family of Nuts – Farmers Market Staff
Family of Nuts is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic team member to join us at our famers market stands. The ideal candidate will be available to work weekend mornings, have reliable transportation, and be able to lift 30 lbs. Duties include picking up supplies in Chantilly, setting up and breaking down the stand, greeting customers, and ringing up sales. Great pay, $17 per hour plus sales commission bonus. Chinese Street Food – Farmers Market Staff
Chinese Street Food seeks a logistics team member(s) for drop-offs or pick-ups, inventory reports, and packing & organizing inventories at weekend-only farmers markets in Washington, DC year-round. The roll will include
occasional special events inventory, drop-offs and pick-ups in DMV; and occasional online order
drop-offs in DC. This part-time job is about 15 hours a week. Most duties happen during the
weekends. Special events and online order delivery hours are not included in those 15 hours.

Midas Touch Coffee – Farmers Market Staff
Midas Touch Coffee seeks a farmers market assistant to help present and sell specialty coffees. Schedule: Every other Thursday, from 2:30–7:30pm. Location: FRESHFARM Ballston Market (Arlington, VA).
