The FRESHFARM Food Hub connects small- and mid-size local farmers, and especially farmers of color, directly with communities that have historically lacked access to fresh, local food. By building on our farmers market network, we create wholesale pathways that allow local farmers to reach underserved individuals and community organizations at scale.
Nonprofit Partners & Schools
Buy local produce with us! We offer local produce to nonprofit partners at wholesale prices, with no mark-up and a $5 delivery for our partners. You can either place orders for produce in bulk (great for food pantries, meal prep, and events) or pre-packed bags (great to distribute to patients, community members, and anyone else who’d love a bag of assorted seasonal produce).
Restaurants & Commercial Clients
We work directly with the small- and mid-sized farmers in our network to aggregate local produce at wholesale prices for our restaurant and commercial clients in the Washington, DC region so that they have access to the highest quality seasonal ingredients for their customers. We are in constant contact with our partner farms to coordinate deliveries that are harvested to order, which allows us the turnaround time to satisfy the product needs of our customers.
Household Orders
Enjoy the best of seasonal local produce by signing up for our Market Share program! This is the perfect program for households who want to help support our local food system and enjoy local produce. We offer Personal and Family size bags, with convenient pick-up at select FRESHFARM markets.
