Overview

To help residents access fresh, healthy produce at farmers markets, FRESHFARM collaborates with the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) and DC Health to provide residents who are 60 years or older with benefits through the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (DC Senior FMNP).

What is DC Senior FMNP?

Program participants receive a one-time fund of $50 on a Produce Pass card. Produce Pass cards can be used to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey with participating farmers at local farmers’ markets from June 1 – November 30.

How do I know if I’m eligible?

You are eligible if you are a DC resident 60 years or older and your income falls below 150% of the Federal Poverty Line:
