The team behind Shroomeast have backgrounds in biology and electrical engineering. They found a shared interest in mushroom cultivation through fascination with the life cycle of fungi and the seemingly endless techniques available to engineer the right growing conditions for their fellow Opisthokonts.

Shroomeast is thrilled to begin their mushroom cultivation journey by offering their local Reston market a colorful variety of oyster mushrooms and a rotating cast of specialty gourmet varieties like Lion’s Mane, Chestnut, and Pioppino mushrooms.
