Pleitez Produce Farm

Pleitez Produce is a family owned farm in the heart of Westmoreland County. Established in 2002, it is run by Alex and Astrid Pleitez with help from their children Joana, Gabriela, Maria and Osiel. With 50 acres of cultivated land they have a dazzling array of produce including tomatoes, tomatillos, beans, peppers, okra, and much more.

By utilizing their 7 greenhouses they are able to get an early start as well as late production, thus extending their growing season. While not certified organic they do use a Virginia Cooperative Extension agent to help with pest management, drip irrigation, and avoid using both GMOs and growth hormones. They also accept WIC and are registered to accept VA Senior Checks.
