CROPEATS

CropEats is an innovative certified MDOT MBE Black Woman-Owned cottage business. The owner is a naturalized citizen and graduate of Howard University School of Engineering. She has a BSC in Chemical Engineering, and a MEng in Civil/Environmental Engineering. She is a water/wastewater treatment product engineer, she has worked on several wastewater treatment plant upgrades as a project engineer, and then finally as an engineering project manager before becoming a foodpreneur. A vegan business ownership was always a part of her vision as a practising vegan for over several decades. The business was established in 2019, but CropEats was born in 2021, and Croplets, the vegan gluten-free muffin-styled dessert product, was realized by accident. True story.
