All the farm stands offer FreshMatch, which provides a dollar-for-dollar match on all federal benefits (SNAP and Senior and WIC FMNP) spent at the stand ($30/day, while funding lasts). The farm stands also accept Produce Plus, a benefit program unique to Washington, DC, which provides locally grown, fresh produce to District residents with limited access to fresh, healthy food.
Our food access programs connect underserved communities with local foods grown by regional farmers. They ensure that fresh and local foods are accessible to all, regardless of income or background, while amplifying growers’ vital role in improving food security in our region.
