A Letter of Gratitude for FoodPrints’ New Partnership with Malcolm X Elementary

Oct. 13, 2023

Antonio Wilson, an administrator at Malcolm X Elementary shared a letter of gratitude with us for their new partnership with FoodPrints and the revitalization of their school garden.

Good Morning Ms. Marilynn and Ms. Ragion,

On behalf of everyone here at Malcolm X Elementary School, we wanted to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible partnership and support in facilitating the update of our outdoor classroom and blacktop.

Your decision to choose Malcolm X and your commitment to teaching self-sufficiency while nurturing young minds have made a profound impact on our students and our entire school community. The transformative work that you have undertaken will forever remain in the hearts and minds of our students, and for that, we will be forever grateful.

By providing our students with the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences in the outdoor classroom, you have not only empowered them to become self-sufficient but also encouraged their love for nature and the environment. Your dedication to fostering sustainable practices within our school has left an indelible mark on our students’ journey of growth and development.

Moreover, the revitalization of our blacktop through your partnership has provided our students with a safe and inclusive space where they can play, learn, and build friendships. It is through this initiative that you have truly fed their minds, creating an environment that nourishes their physical, social, and emotional well-being.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for the tremendous impact you’ve made on our school community. Your generosity, dedication, and unwavering support have made a significant difference in the lives of our students, helping to shape them into individuals who are resilient, imaginative, and compassionate.

Once again, we extend our sincerest thanks to Food Prints for partnering with us and for believing in the power of education, self-sufficiency, and nourishment of our students. Your contributions have touched the lives of our students in ways that will continue to resonate for years to come.

With utmost appreciation,

Antonio Wilson
