Jessica Zetzman, FRESHFARM Board Chair
Jessica Zetzman is the Director of Messaging and Content at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation where she works to support RWJF’s vision to pave the way to a future where health is no longer a privilege, but a right. Jess has led communications and storytelling for social impact organizations for over 17 years, crafting national narrative change campaigns, spearheading award-winning website redesigns, producing a Shorty Impact Award-nominated storytelling series, and leading marketing for a bestselling book.

Lisa Renstrom, FRESHFARM Board Vice Chair
Lisa Renstrom is President and co-founder of Values Advisor, a nonprofit dedicated to accelerating the flow of money into values-aligned investing. With three decades in the environmental, social justice, investment, and philanthropy sectors, her previous leadership roles include Executive Director of Voice & Choices, President of the National Sierra Club, President of Rachel’s Network, and co-creation of DivestInvest Individual and Values Advisor. In addition to the FRESHFARM board, Lisa serves on the boards of Bonwood Social Investments and ecoAmerica.

Daniel Rodden, FRESHFARM Board Treasurer
Daniel Rodden is Managing Director with KPMG LLP in the audit practice. Daniel grew up in Detroit, Michigan and attended Michigan State University. He has lived in Washington, DC since 2013 and has served on the FRESHFARM board for over five years.

Raj Aggarwal, FRESHFARM Board Secretary
Raj Aggarwal is the founder of Provoc, a communications firm whose vision is a world transformed by equity, beauty, and love. With over 20 years of experience as a communications and technology strategist, he has led internal and external branding, marketing, and customer engagement efforts for more than 450 nonprofits and social impact firms. Raj actively helps to shift organizations into a space of compassion and equity. As a lifelong Washingtonian, Raj is deeply rooted in the local community. He serves on the boards of the DC Fiscal Policy Institute, Ram Dass’s Love Serve Remember Foundation, Climate Access, and the Ben’s Chili Bowl Foundation and has served on the boards of Think Local First DC, NTEN, and the Washington, DC Economic Partnership. He is also the proud recipient of B Lab’s inaugural Anti-Racism and JEDI Impact Award.

Jill Levison Chenok
Jill Levison Chenok has led and served nonprofits and her community in DC and Montgomery County for over 15 years, following a career in government and consulting. As a cluster coordinator for the seven Whitman Cluster public schools, she advocated for facilities additions and renovations, student technology, staffing, class size limits, curriculum needs, and safety at the county and state levels. Jill served as president of two school-based nonprofits: an education foundation which raised funds for capital improvements, equipment, technology, and educational enhancements; and a nonprofit board supporting an award-winning high school drama program, where she raised funds, budgeted investments, and managed community relations with students, parents, and school officials. Jill also served 10 years on the board of Temple Sinai, a 1,200-family Jewish congregation with a $4 million annual budget.

Rachel Clark
Rachel Clark is the Director of Policy & Engagement at the Climate and Health Institute at George Washington University, where she focuses on research and action at the intersection of climate change, public health, and equity. Previously, Rachel was Policy Director at the Redstone Global Center for Prevention & Wellness. Before joining GW, Rachel served as a Legislative Counsel for the Committee on Transportation & the Environment at the Council of the District of Columbia. She also spent several years as an attorney advisor at the Food & Drug Administration and as a legal fellow at the Center for Science in the Public Interest. Rachel currently serves as a mayoral appointee on the DC Food Policy Council, where she co-chairs the Sustainable Supply Chain Working Group.

Danielle DaCosta
Danielle DaCosta brings over a decade of accounting experience across financial reporting, auditing, and tax. Danielle graduated from Howard University and began her career at KPMG, primarily serving public and private audit clients. Since leaving KPMG, Danielle has been at Northrop Grumman working in SEC reporting.

Nina Damato
Nina Damato is a dedicated advocate for sustainable food systems. As CEO at Blue Circle Foods, an employee-owned company committed to responsible aquaculture, she oversees the development of innovative, clean-label seafood products that prioritize both environmental stewardship and consumer health. As a FRESHFARM board member, she co-chaired the 2021 FRESHFARM Feast, a celebration of local agriculture and culinary talent. Nina is the daughter of renowned chef and sustainability pioneer Nora Pouillon, which has instilled in her a lifelong passion for ethical food practices.

Maria Voles Ferguson
Maria Voles Ferguson serves as the Vice President, Content, for Strada Education Foundation. In that capacity, she oversees the development of a wide range of written and digital content, including research, publications, and other web-based resources. Before joining Strada, Maria was a full-time consultant, working with clients in the education and public policy sectors. She has more than 15 years of executive and management experience, including serving as the Executive Director of the Center on Education Policy (CEP) at the George Washington University in Washington, DC and as the Vice President for Policy at the Alliance for Excellent Education, a nonprofit policy and advocacy organization in Washington, DC. Maria’s career spans journalism, government, public policy, and consulting. Her background and experience cover almost every area of communications, including writing, editing, design, and film/video production.

Jade Floyd
Jade Floyd is Executive Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs at Global Strategy Group. She works with philanthropies, investment firms, and corporate leaders, crafting strategic communications campaigns and impact-driven storytelling. Previously, she was Vice President of Communications at the Case Foundation and Revolution Venture Capital and spent five years at CLS Strategies, a strategic international public affairs firm. Jade is an adjunct professor at George Washington University, where she teaches on Social Impact Communications. She currently serves on the boards of Stubblefield Institute for Civil Political Communication at Shepherd University, the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs National Council, Sitar Arts Center, and Spur Local DC.

Michelle Ramsey
Michelle Ramsey currently works at Marriott International as Senior Manager of Accounting Policy, providing proactive consultation and technical accounting guidance on various issues and transactions. Prior to joining Marriott, Michelle worked for seven years in external audit at KPMG, primarily serving not-for-profit, aerospace and defense, and other private commercial clients. Michelle is a CPA and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University with majors in Accounting and Operations and Information Management and a minor in Justice and Peace Studies. During her time at Georgetown, Michelle served two years as Director of Monitoring and Staff Accountant for The Hilltop Microfinance Initiative, a student-run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Michelle loves to cook for her family and connect with friends over a home-cooked meal made with local, seasonal ingredients sourced from FRESHFARM markets.

Andrew Steinberg
Andrew Steinberg, a partner at Venable LLP, has extensive experience advising nonprofit organizations. He is a leader in the nonprofit bar, serving as the Current Developments Chair of the Nonprofit Organizations Committee of the American Bar Association. Andrew has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America as one of its “Ones to Watch” and by SuperLawyers as a “Rising Star” five years straight, by Legal 500 in the “Tax-Not-for-Profit” category, and by the National Law Journal.

Bettina Thompson Stern
Bettina Stern is the co-founder of Chaia, a seasonal vegetable taco company that gives customers fresh, flavorful, plant-forward ingredients. Bettina and her business partner Suzanne Simon brought their unique restaurant concept to Washington, DC’s farmers markets, where it instantly created long lines. Within weeks of their debut, Chaia was selected by The Washington Post as “one of DC’s top nine up-and-coming tastemakers.” Bettina’s background is as a magazine editor, including at Conde Nast Publications, Hearst Magazines, and The New York Times Custom Publishing. Her first job was working summers in the storefront kitchen of Ina Garten’s The Barefoot Contessa. Stern is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization, Les Dames d’Escoffier, a Slow Food advocate, and a charter member of Union Kitchen’s Food Incubator Program. In 2023, she became a fellow in the Tory Burch Foundation, and in 2024, Bettina joined the Georgetown Business Leaders Roundtable.
