This woman-owned and black-owned bakery specializes in unique pound cakes, cupcakes, brownies, breads, and vegan desserts.

The owners of ButterQueen Bakery started baking as a hobby for friends, family, and small community events. Due to the success and demand, they turned their hobby into a business.

“Our grandma was the person who opened us up to the world of baking, so we chose our childhood nickname given by our grandmother as our business name: ButterQueen Bakery,” explains the owners of the bakery. “Many of our recipes are inspired by Grandma but with an added twist! Remember, if there’s no butter (or vegan butter), did you really eat cake?”
