Wild Places Prints
Zachary Ammerman, the artist behind Wild Places Prints, has been a huge map nerd since he was a little kid, when he had — at a minimum — nine different atlases and would spend hours upon hours analyzing their every detail. He loved to lose himself in maps.
While the exact method varies from map to map, he always makes his maps the long way: by hand, using absolutely no GIS or automation of any kind. The best-made maps are informative works of art, and he hopes his are able to tickle the joyful part of your brain that activates when you combine learning with beauty.
