miles to DC
Good Dog Farm is a 25-acre vegetable farm in Upperco, Maryland. Owners Bryan Alexander and Joanna Winkler pooled their collective years of farming experience to found Good Dog Farm in 2016. They use organic growing practices for all of their crops, ensuring the highest quality and safest produce, and are in the process of becoming Certified Naturally Grown. They use sustainable growing practices to protect their soil and waterways.
Good Dog Farm supplies customers in the metro Baltimore region with delicious, nutritious food that’s always fresh. They grow vegetables year-round thanks to their two high tunnels. Their farm provides a diversity of crops for their Community Supported Agriculture program plus wholesale quantities of unique varieties of storage crops like potatoes, winter squash, and sweet potatoes. They also offer vegetable and herb plants for sale each spring. The name ‘Good Dog Farm’ comes from their shared love of their three dogs, who remind them to live simply and have fun every day.
